Kong raises USD 100 mln Series D to accelerate cloud connectivity

Tuesday 9 February 2021 | 08:59 CET | News
Italy-based start-up Kong said it closed a USD 100 million Series D financing led by Tiger Global with participation from new investor Goldman Sachs as well as existing investors Index Ventures, CRV, Andreessen Horowitz and GGV Capital. This raises its valuation to USD 1.4 billion and will allow it to scale its go-to-market operations faster. This includes doubling down on engineering to further support its customers in building their connectivity fabric with its cloud-managed service connectivity platform Kong Konnect, whose general availability was announced on 1 February.
