Korea to invest KRW 8.5 trln in ICT sector

South Korea will invest KRW 8.5 trillion over five years to boost research and development in the ICT sector, a key sector in government's "creative economy" plan. The plan aims to improve the country's economy by creating new business opportunities and more jobs by combining information technology with cultural and other sectors.
