Kosovo fixed telephony prefix to change from September

Sunday 5 August 2012 | 22:04 CET | News
Kosovo-based telecommunications operator Ipko has announced that the fixed telephony prefix will change on 01 September from +38643 to +38138. The reason for this change is the unification of fixed telephony prefixes by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, which obligates Ipko to switch to the +38138 prefix. Until 31 August, Ipko customers can still be contacted with the 043 or 038 prefix, while from 01 September this will be possible only via the +38138 prefix.
