KPN loses in Dutch mobile retail market in Q2 as T-Mobile/Tele2, Vodafone grow

The T-Mobile/Tele2 combination added a net 73,000 new mobile retail customers in the second quarter, all in postpaid. Vodafone gained 6,000 retail customers, as postpaid growth managed to just outpace the loss in prepaid users. Since their merger at the start of the year, T-Mobile/Tele2 are number two in the Dutch retail market, with nearly 5.5 million mobile customers, while Vodafone trails with just under 5 million.
