KPN upgrades 3G speed to 14.4Mbps

KPN announced an increase in speeds on its 3G network. All customers of KPN and its brand Hi will now have access to speeds of up to 14.4 Mbps download and 2.0 Mbps upload. Prices are unchanged. KPN's other main brand, Telfort is increasing the speed for data customers to 7 Mbps, or 14.4 Mbps with the Internet Accelerator option. The speed upgrades will take effect between 6 and 23 January, but the higher speeds are not yet available nationwide.
