KT ends 2013 with 8.07 mln broadband subs

South Korean communications carrier KT ended December 2013 with 8.07 million broadband subscribers after recording net adds of 3,000 for the month. The company also had 18.02 million telephony subscribers as the PSTN base fell by 77,000 subscribers to 14.51 million while the VoIP base grew by 7,000 customers to 3.51 million. KT also signed-up 80,000 new IPTV subscribers, bringing its total to 4.97 million.
