KT ends July with 3.65 mln IPTV subs

South Korean telecommunications operator KT added 14,000 broadband customers in July to end the month with a total of 7.98 million broadband subscribers. The company also had 18.91 million telephony customers, down by 46,000 in the month. The total comprises 15.58 million PSTN customers, down by 53,000, and 3.33 million VoIP customers, up by 7,000 in July. The number of IPTV subscribers rose by 75,000 to 3.65 million while the number of Wi-Fi customers fell by 3,000 to 196,000.
