KT launches WiBro DMB service

Korean telecom company KT and television station KBS have launched a beta WiBro terrestrial digital media broadcasting (T-DMB) service, reports the Korea Times quoting company officials. Customers can watch the broadcasts by inserting a USB device in a WiBro terminal. Currently, the service offers reruns of television shows, background information on TV programmes. Later KT and KBS will offer television shopping services, interactive games, quizzes and polls.
