KT showcases big data services to tackle air pollution at UN Environment Assembly in Kenya

South Korean mobile operator KT has proposed big data-based solutions to global environmental problems the fourth UN Environment Assembly (UNEA) being held in Kenya. During a panel discussion with Google Earth, Apple and other major ICT corporations, KT announced new ways to collect and use big data on the environment, stressing the need for joint efforts to achieve globally sustainable solutions.
