KT to expand overseas network to handle increasing Netflix traffic

South Korea KT has announced it will expand its overseas network capacity to deal with a sharp rise in traffic generated by US video streaming giant Netflix, Yonhap news agency reports, citing a KT report. "KT plans to expand its international network in February in line with Netflix's recent data volume and traffic status to prevent any customer inconvenience", KT said. It did not elaborate on the scope of the network capacity or its schedule.
