KT to integrate 5G network with voice-controlled AI-based drone to monitor infrastructure

South Korean mobile operator KT has announced plans to integrate its 5G network with a voice-controlled drone enabled by artificial intelligence to monitor major infrastructure, Yonhap news agency reports. KT has signed a MoU with drone developer Woori Aviation, voice recognition services start-up Syncspace and state-run Korea Southern Power (KOSPO) to jointly develop the smart drone.
