Kupsin takes command of Bulgaria's Max Telecom

UK-based private equity investor Daniel Kupsin has become the owner and sole-shareholder of Bulgarian WiMax operator Max Telecom, writes Bulgarian news agency Novinite citing a media statement issued by the company. Max Telecom launched WiMax services back in 2007 and its network currently covers 70 percent of the Bulgarian population. The company offers mobile internet services nationwide. The founding owner of Max Telecom Krassimir Stoychev will be replaced as CEO by Peter Covell, an industry veteran with a strong experience as an executive in Bulgaria and other telecom markets.
