Kyocera launches new smartphones for children and seniors

Kyocera has announced the launch of two new easy-to-use smartphones targeted at seniors and children. The company said its seniors-focused smartphone, the Basio, features an intuitive home screen design and a large 5-inch display for enhanced readability. It also has "tactile operation buttons" which, according to the company, will feel familiar to users accustomed to feature phone handsets. The Android 4.4-powered phone also comes with a 13-megapixel camera, 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 3,000mAh battery and is available in gold, pink and blue. The company's other new smartphone, the Miraie,
