La Liga and Microsoft ink new technology-led partnership

Spain's football league (La Liga) and Microsoft have enhanced a partnership that began in 2016 by signing a new agreement to boost revenues for clubs and launched a new commercial offering featuring the latest sports technology. As LaLiga's official global Tech and Innovation Partner, Microsoft will help develop new solutions that will drive innovation across the sports industry. These include using Microsoft Azure's AI and machine learning software for the LaLigaSportsTV and Mediacoach platforms as well as Microsoft technology for a revamped OTT streaming platform that can feature
