LatAm ends 2014 with 48 mln mobile M2M modules - Cisco

The number of mobile-connected M2M modules in Latin America grew 45 percent in 2014, reaching 48 million in number, according to the latest edition of the Cisco Visual Networking Index (VNI). In Latin America, the number of mobile-connected M2M modules will grow 4.2-fold between 2014 and 2019, reaching 205 million in number. Also, M2M modules in the region will be 20.6 percent of device connections by 2019, and 3.4 percent of total traffic, according to the study.
