LatAm OTT subs to hit 40 mln by 2023 - study

OTT SVoD paid subscriptions in Latin America are set to almost double from 21 million in 2018 to close to 40 million by 2023, reports NexTVLatAm, citing Dataxis data. Netflix is expected to remain the largest pan-regional SVoD platform in 2023 but its dominance is set to decline from its current market share of some 60 percent due to the entry of more competitors, said the report.
