Latin America digital piracy creates USD 733 million in losses annually

A new report by the Centro de Estudios de Telecomunicaciones de America Latina (cet.la) estimates that online audiovisual piracy causes annual losses of USD 733 million to the legal market. In addition, the illegal business represents a potential profit of USD 675 million per year based on clicks on illegal sites.
