Latin America reaches 5.69 mln OTT subs at end-Q3

Latin America ended the third quarter of 2014 with 5.69 million OTT subscribers, according to a recent study by Dataxis. This figure represents an increase of 82.2 percent compared to end-Q3 2013. The region saw a net addition of 2.57 million OTT subscribers in the twelve months to September 2014. The market was led by Netflix, with a market share of nearly 60 percent.
