Lawyer urges court to speed up DeTe stock price case

The 16 year-old Deutsche Telekom stock market case has re-opened, with lawyers for the plaintiffs urging judges to come to a decision soon. The case, first filed in 2001, concerns over 16,000 plaintiffs who claim to have collectively lost EUR 80 million after a sharp drop in the price of Deutsche Telekom's shares. The plaintiff's lawyer Andreas Tilp warned the regional court in Frankfurt that "plaintiffs are dying on us" and his clients may not live to see the results of the case.
