Lazard named Telekom Srbija privatization advisor

Telekom Srbija has accepted the offer of French firm Lazard Freres to provide management consulting services in the privatization process of the Serbian operator, reports Tanjug. It is expected that the advisor will propose the privatization model for the operator in the next two months. As previously established, the advisor will make an assessment of the company value, economic and legal analysis, and market analysis. On the basis of the proposal, the majority shareholder, the Serbian government, should decide on the further privatization and choose one of the proposed models for the sale
