Lebanese govt signs deal with Wonet for roaming data app

Lebanon's ministry of telecommunication (MoT) has assigned the Switzerland-based company Wone, to provide a new Value Added Service (VAS) for roaming, reports Businessnews. At USD 25 per month, Wonet's service will allow Alfa and Touch customers to use the internet abroad and receive and make phone calls at local rates. Wonet is a mobile application that is activated through a chip that can be purchased, using the subscriber's existing phone number.
