Lenovo launches low-price 4G smartphone in Kenya

Chinese phone manufacturer Lenovo has launched the lowest-priced 4G smart phone on the Kenyan market, retailing at USD 50, Global Times reported. Lenovo East Africa Business Head Danish Oyugi said there is growing demand for smart phones as consumers are upgrading their features phones. The Chinese multinational is banking on the rise in 4G usage and growing internet usage by the young generation to drive its smart phone business in Kenya.
