LeoSat up to USD 1 billion in pre-launch deals

LeoSat Enterprises, which is launching a constellation of up to 108 low-earth orbit communications satellites, has reached the milestone of USD 1 billion in commercial agreements. In a statement, the company said the pre-launch deals span a wide range of data and mobility sectors including enterprise, telecom, government and finance. Two major satellite companies – Asia's Sky Perfect JSAT and Spain's Hispasat – have already backed the project and LeoSat recently announced the first details in the development of the ground system after reaching an agreement with Phasor Solutions, a developer
