Less than half (42%) of UK adults are 'digital savvy' and able to easily complete a number of digital tasks, according to new research from Nominet. The Digital Futures Index highlighted a generational digital skills gap, with 64 percent of millennials (born between 1981 and 1996) digital savvy. This compares to 46 percent of Gen X (born between 1965 and 1980), 34 percent of Gen Z (born 1997 onwards), 23 percent of baby boomers (born between 1946 and 1964), and 15 percent of the pre-war generation (born 1945 and earlier).
