LG sees Q3 sales down 5.8%

LG Electronics has announced its earnings guidance for the third quarter of 2016. LG expects to reach consolidated sales of KRW 13 trillion in the third quarter, which represents a decline of 5.8 percent year-on-year. The company also expects an operating profit of around KRW 283.2 billion, down 3.7 percent from a year ago. In the second quarter of 2016, LG saw its sales reach nearly KRW 14 trillion, while operating profit amounted to KRW 584.6 billion.
