LG to showcase new webOS 3.0 platform at CES

LG has announced that it will unveil the latest version of its webOS smart TV platform at the CES consumer tech show in Las Vegas next month. The new webOS 3.0 will be included in LG's smart TV catalogue for the year and comes with a number of new features as well as more free content. LG said the platform will offer a trio of "magic smart" features: Magic Zoom, Magic Mobile Connection and an upgraded Magic Remote. LG has also partnered with connected TV technology platform Xumo to create Channel Plus, which will deliver "an abundance of high quality, free digital content" from broadcasters
