LG Uplus to launch IoT-based door lock system

South Korean mobile operator LG Uplus plans to launch an intelligent door lock system in partnership with digital door lock maker Samsung SDS, The Korea Times reports. Dubbed 'Uplus Door Lock', the IoT service will allow users to remotely lock and unlock doors at home through applications downloaded to their smartphones.
