Libertis starts per-second billing, launches Mobicash

Gabon Telecom's mobile subsidiary, Libertis, started applying per-second billing on 1 April. National calls cost is XAF 1 per second, or the equivalent of USD 0.125 per minute, Agence Ecofin reports. The operator launched its Mobicash service on the same day, to enable subscribers to transfer money with their handset. The service is offered in partnership with Gabon bank union UGB.
