Liberty Global close to Multimedia Polska takeover - report

Liberty Global, the owner of UPC Poland, is close to a takeover of Multimedia Polska, according to Puls Biznesu. The daily called to minds that the transaction has been unsuccessful once before and there are potential obstacles to concluding, such as a likely decision by antimonopoly authority UOKIK. The parties did not want to comment officially on the transaction.
