Liberty LatAm's acquisition of Movistar Costa Rica gets presidential green light

Liberty Latin America announced that it received the go ahead from Costa Rica's President for its acquisition of Telefonica's mobile assets in the country. The deal, which won approval from local regulator Sutel in June, will see Liberty Latin America acquire Movistar Costa Rica for a total of USD 500 million (EUR 425 million) in cash.
