Lidl introduced contactless payment

German supermarket Lidl is to offers contactless payment with Mastercard, Visa, Maestro or V-Pay at all 3,200 branches by 1 February, teltarif.de reports. The discount retailer introduced card payment with MasterCard or Visa card in July, and the contactless service at selected stores in the autumn. In order to use the service, customers need an NFC-enabled smartphone or a payment card with the contactless function.
