Lifecell, Ericsson test 5G in Kiev

Ukrainian mobile operator Lifecell, in cooperation with the Ukraine branch of Ericsson, has deployed a 5G demo-segment in Kiev. The segment of the network was deployed under the framework of the Sweden-Ukraine business forum SUBF-2019. Speeds of 25.6 Gbps were reached during the tests carried out on the 28 GHz band. Beamforming and Beamtracking, MIMO Massive and Multi-User technologies were used for the test, as well as Ericsson concepts and services.
