LightSquared attracts new suitors as Ergen continues w/ bid

A Nevada judge has ruled that Dish Network's USD 2.2 billion bid for LightSquared can go forward with the involvement of Dish chairman Charlie Ergen, the Wall Street Journal reported. Separately, Fortress Investment and Centerbridge Partners have shown interest in LightSquared, attracted to the company's spectrum, sources familiar with the matter said. The wireless communications business filed for bankruptcy in May 2012 and will be up for auction on 11 December. Dish's bid is currently the highest filed with the bankruptcy court. It is not clear how aggressively Fortress or Centerbridge
