Lime to launch 4G services in Cayman Islands this year

Mobile operator Lime is upgrading its mobile network in the Cayman Islands to launch 4G services by Christmas, CayCompass reports, citing Lime Cayman CEO Bill McCabe during a press conference Tuesday. Lime plans to invest over USD 30 million in its infrastructure upgrade this year and in 2014. The first part of the investment covers the deployment of dual carrier technology to double the currently available mobile data speeds.
