Limelight again lifts guidance amid higher revenues, profit in Q2

Limelight Networks has again lifted its guidance for the full year on the back of lower capex, higher revenues and improved profit in the second quarter. Revenues lifted 11 percent from the year earlier to USD 50.2 million, with the gross margin going up 230 basis points to 49.4 percent, the net profit lifting to USD 15.2 million or USD 0.13 per basic share, from a loss the year before of 1.6 million and 0.01 per basic share. The adjusted EBITDA meanwhile advanced to USD 9.2 million from 7.9 million while cash and marketable securities amounted to USD 45.6 million.
