Limelight Networks opens 100th PoP, increases global capacity 40%

Friday 17 May 2019 | 10:28 CET | News
Limelight Networks opened its 100th point-of-presence (PoP). The company said it increased its global network capacity by 40 percent to 42Tbps of egress capacity since January 2018. In addition to expanding its number of PoP locations around the globe, Limelight's technology is also embedded deeper into service provider networks through its partnership with Ericsson. This strategic initiative reduces latency even further and increases online video quality.
