Limerick awarded EUR 6.5 million smart city grant from EU

The Irish city of Limerick has secured EU funding worth EUR 6.5 million to become a Smart Positive Energy City. The grant has been issued through the EU's 'Horizon 2020' research and innovation funding programme for a smart cities and communities project.
