LinkedIn sales up 59% in Q2, as membership grows 37%

Professional social network LinkedIn has reported revenue of USD 363.7 million for Q2 2013, up 59 percent from USD 228.2 million a year earlier, with net income up to USD 3.7 million, from USD 2.8 million, adjusted EBITDA up to USD 88.6 million (24% of revenue), from USD 50.4 million (22% of revenue) in Q2 2012. Revenue from Premium Subscriptions products totalled USD 73 million (20% of total revenue), an increase of 68 percent compared to Q2 2012. Revenue from the US reached USD 224.3 million in Q2 to account for 62 percent of total revenue. LinkedIn membership grew to 238 million, up 37 percent year-on-year.
