Linxdatacenter gets licence from Security Service to work on encryption

Friday 12 July 2019 | 10:24 CET | News

Russian hosting and cloud service provider Linxdatacenter has obtained a licence from the Federal Security Service of Russia for a range of data encryption activities, including working with information systems.

It expects that obtaining the licence will help Linxdatacenter to develop its business as a service provider for a wide range of IT services in Russia. In particular, licensing will help it to increase its autonomy while ensuring the protection of customer data and, expand the range of services provided within the framework of personal data processing projects.

Linxdatacenter has recently expanded its portfolio of network services. The new products include construction and support for network infrastructure. The system is primarily addressed at companies whose network infrastructure is being constructed from scratch or which has grown obsolete and requires serious modification. Services will range from the audit and design of network topology to equipment installation and support.
