Liquid Telecom Kenya presents sustainability report

Tuesday 30 May 2017 | 11:21 CET | News
Liquid Telecom Kenya has issued its first Sustainability Report, presenting the results of its November 2015 commitment to the Code of Ethics for Business in Kenya. It said it adopted a zero-tolerance policy on corruption, which led to fourteen staff disciplinary cases during 2016. It cut diesel use by 35 percent in twelve months by introducing solar panels at internet nodes, setting up of video conferencing facilities to cut travel to meetings, installing voltage regulators on generators and launching a power substation.
