Lisbon Court suspends appointment of Pharol corporate bodies

The Commercial Court of Lisbon has suspended the appointment of elected bodies for Pharol (former Portugal Telecom) for the 2018-2020 period, the Portuguese company said. The move is precautionary measure because shareholder Telemar Norte Leste -fully owned by Oi- is in Judicial Recovery. During the Pharol AGM on 25 May, the company explained that it could not vote for a chairman of the board because it was in a situation of confict of interest.
