Logitech upgrades security cams, adds person detection

Logitech has announced a series of enhancements to its Circle Home security cameras, including the ability to detect people using proprietary artificial intelligence. The new smart feature uses facial recognition to identify a specific person, sending an alert whenever an unknown intruder enters the new 'Motion Zones'. Using the Logitech Circle web app, users can create up to five key motion zones, such as the front door, bedroom windows or garage door, and receive custom alerts whenever motion is detected.
