London doctors test smartphone video consultations

Tuesday 7 November 2017 | 09:19 CET | News
A group of London doctors has started testing patient consultations over smartphone. Developed by the company Babylon, the service allows users to book a doctor's appointment online or over a smartphone app and then meet with the doctor within hours over videoconferencing. Users can also arrange in-person appointments and prescription pick-ups and check their symptoms over the app.
