London mayor wants 5G in the capital by 2020

London Mayor Boris Johnson wants the city to have 5G by 2020, the Telegraph reported. Johnson made the statement ahead the formal launch of the city's first long term infrastructure investment plan. Johnson said the 5G mobile network will be deployed in collaboration with the University of Surrey. The mayor will also promise that much more accurate information about broadband speeds at individual properties will be made available to prospective tenants or purchasers.
