Lookout brings extra app security to Microsoft Office 365 apps on BYOD devices

California IT security specialist Lookout said it has inked a new deal to introduce bring-your-own-devices (BYOD) support for Microsoft Office 365 users. Lookout Mobile Endpoint Security now supports Microsoft Intune app protection for unmanaged devices, so that companies can better protect their data. The system will basically give extra security for Intune protected apps on iOS and Android, where the devices themselves are not managed.
