Lower Austria region gets support for fibre-optic project

The Lower Austria region Waldviertel has won support for a pilot project on fibre-optic infrastructure construction. The project is implemented by the Lower Austrian Fibre-Optics Infrastructure Company (noGIG). It focuses on regions where there is no effective competition or construction of fibre networks is not profitable for a network operator.
