Lower Saxony allocates EUR 4.58 mln to support free Wi-Fi on Hannover buses, trains

Lower Saxony's Ministry of Economic, Labour, Transport and Digitisation said that it will financially support the public transport company in Hannover, Ustra Hannoversche Verkehrsbetriebe, with EUR 4.58 million to provide free Wi-Fi connectivity on buses, trains and at stations. Ustra wants to instal WLAN access points at all stops, expand the existing fibre-optic network and improving speeds to up to 10 Gbps.
