Lower Saxony state govt receives 1,600 reports of mobile coverage gaps in 1 week

The Economics Ministry of the German state of Lower Saxony has already received 1,600 reports of gaps in the state's mobile network coverage only one week after the ministry launched an internet portal where citizens can register these dead zones, reported Heise Online. The ministry said the reports on coverage gaps concerned all mobile network operators and originated mainly from citizens in rural areas throughout the state.
