Luxembourg's broadband market shows ongoing rise in 100 Mbps connections

Thursday 21 December 2017 | 09:45 CET | News
Luxembourg's fixed broadband market continued to move towards faster connectivity in the first half of 2017, as 24 percent of total connections delivered an advertised speed of 100 Mbps or above in June, from 19.0 percent at end-2016, according to telecom regulator ILR. This rise was partly at the expense of connections with an advertised speed higher than 30 Mbps but lower than 100 Mbps, which saw their market share decline from 34.8 percent to 31.8 percent over the same period.
