Lyse telecom division lifts FY revenue and EBITDA but one-off costs hit underlying operating profit

Wednesday 1 April 2020 | 11:40 CET | News
Norwegian utility and fibre operator Lyse said that its telecommunication division ended 2019 with revenue of NOK 3.88 billion, up 11 percent from NOK 3.50 billion the year before. EBITDA rose to NOK 1.45 billion from NOK 1.28 billion in 2018. However, the underlying operating profit fell by NOK 27 million to NOK 483 million because of one-off costs for deploying new customer systems and acquisitions, as well as very high investments and consequent write-downs.
